Went to the Bastille Day celebration sponsored by the Alliance Française d'Austin. Really humid. A good turn out, several hundred people. I had only one glass of wine, a nice Cote du Rhone Rose. I won two things in the fund raising raffle, a one year subscription to the Journal Française and a replica of the key to the Bastille sent to George Washington by Lafayette on display at Mount Vernon.

Sort of late Bastille Day, eh? Congrats on winning so much stuff!

Yeah, it was postponed two weeks because of rain on Saturday the 16th and a private party at the museum the following week. It's held at the French Legation Museum. http://www.frenchlegationmuseum.org/
